The Red Wing Shoes 8146 Roughneck Moc Toe in Briar Oil Slick is a classic Red Wing Shoes moccasin and is made in Red Wing, Minnesota. The Red Wing 6" Moc Toe boot was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s. The Red Wing Moc-toe was built to withstand heavy work and harsh weather conditions. The name Red Wing 'Moc Toe' derives from 'Moccasin', the traditional word of the Algonquian Native Americans for the U-shaped design of the toe. The Red Wing Shoes Roughneck 8146 is a variation of the quintessential Red Wing classic: the Red Wing 875. The Red Wing 8146 boot features a black Vibram Lug outsole that offers maximum grip and exceptional comfort and durability. The Red Wing 8146 Roughneck boot is equipped with the original gold/tan round taslan laces.
